Occupational Therapist
Catherine received her Masters of Health Science at The Medical College of Georgia and is an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) licensed and registered occupational therapist since 2014. She currently specializes in early intervention services throughout Atlanta as well as working with middle/high school aged clients with reaching independent life skills such as: self-care routines and hygiene management, community integration, and independence with age-appropriate household tasks from chores to cooking simple meals. Catherine started her focus in early intervention while working in Chicago, and joined Therapy Steps INC in 2017. Catherine has actively engaged in developmental training focused on: sensory integration, Beckman's Oral/Motor Feeding, SOS feeding, Primitive Reflex Integration, and Emotional/Sensory Regulation. Catherine has experience working with children of all ages and diagnoses including CMV, lissencephaly, Down syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and other developmental delay. In her spare time, you can find Catherine kick boxing, dabbling in photography, or hosting a theme-specific get together. She is a Pisces and an Enneagram 2, for those who want to know!
