Allison Blatt, PT
Physical Therapist
Allison received her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2003 from Hunter university in Manhattan. Allison then went on to work at Children’s Hospital Boston as an inpatient physical therapist and then to an outpatient pediatric clinic in Braintree MA. During her time in Braintree, she worked with children with torticollis, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and generalized low muscle tone.
Allison then moved to Atlanta and has been working with Therapy Steps since 2006. Allison has taken continuing education courses including advanced treatments in torticollis, orthopedic management in overuse injuries, sure steps bracing, kinesio taping and pediatric myofascial release. Allison has experience working with children of all ages but specializes in childfen from 0-6 years of age. Her clients have a wide range of diagnoses including developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, down’s syndrome, hypotonia, and other rare chromosomal diagnoses.
In her free time, you can find Allison spending time and traveling with her husband, three children and two dogs, running or teaching Barre.
